DEATH ON THE NILE

 

The film Death on the Nile begins with a meeting between Jacqueline de Bellefort (Emma Mackey) and Simon Doyle (Armie Hammer), who later fall in love and form a relationship. However, both of them started having trouble when poverty approached.

To overcome this, Bellefort introduces his partner Linnet Ridgeway (Gal Gadot) in order to get a job. This woman was very rich, so Doyle fell in love and was willing to leave Bellefort.

Doyle and Ridgeway finally decided to marry. The couple then made their honeymoon using a boat down the Nile River. There, the two meet Hercule Poirot (Kenneth Branagh), a detective who wants to take a vacation to Egypt.
The warm, cheerful and loving atmosphere suddenly changes when Poirot finds a passenger shot dead the next day. He was one of the recently married couples, Doyle and Ridgeway.
Poirot, who originally wanted to relax, is entrusted with investigating the case which is considered to be a murder. All passengers on the ship have the potential to become perpetrators, so he and his partner, Bouc (Tom Bateman) must carry out an investigation.
